I've shared that the past few years have been rough and stuff (with my afro puffs), and after this past week with my friends and family of L'Arche and true old friends in California, I can inhale the RUAH- breath of God again. The vastness and omnipotence of mountains, sunshine, and ocean pulled my gaze to see that life is bigger than my experience, and Hope is a power much, much greater than despair!!!
I seek to:
1. Hold life with open hands, instead of grasping it tightly. (As one would hold a seahorse.)

2. Embrace the gift of the moment, which truly is God given.
3. Love creation in and outside of myself, and to focus on the inherent goodness.
4. Cultivate gratitude.
I hope and pray for anyone who feels hopeless, to remember God creates beauty, not junk (as Sister Anita simply and wisely exhorted to me at the foot of the Sierra Madre mountains). You are each radically loveable, and precious! By reflecting on your gifts, may RUAH be breathed into you, to realize how you can give again to the world, and find your path of joy and love.
You are beautiful, please know that, let it give you a burst of energy!
I'm so very thankful for all of my friends and family. The dear ones who are present and loving everyday.
And to God, for blessing me with such miracles of love and beauty in this wild flower of a life.
