Last night at the i.O. Theatre whilst interning, one of the bartenders launched a Haiku writing campaign...what a fun idea! So, this inspired me to write some more, since I've vowed to do something fun every day of my favorite (Birthday!) month, August:

Breathing in summer
Every day is beautiful
Even when it storms
Cute hairless mole-rats
Lincoln Park Zoo is their home
They would make fun pets
Chicago Dreaming
Inspiration all around
Reach out and grasp it!
God's plan unravels
Every day, let's be awake
recognize beauty
The Holy Spirit

Woven Banyan trees
